We encourage all students to be actively involved and participate in the arts and/or sports to develop teamwork, leadership, communication, collaboration, improve problem solving skills, and maintain a healthy lifestyle with physical activity. You must be a student enrolled at Almentia Academy to receive a full credit for Club/Travel Sports, Dance (includes cheerleader), Music, or Art.
LOOKING BACK ON THE 2021 / 2022 YOUTH HOCKEY SEASON
What an amazing year for Youth Hockey players from the state of Arizona. Congratulations to the Seattle Jr. Thunderbirds 16UAAA team on their first win of the East Coast Elite League (ECEL) Champions of 2022. The Sno-King Jr. Thunderbirds 16U AAA defeated Wenatchee Wilderness 16U AAA to win the State Championship for the 2nd year in a row advancing to the District Games in Irvine, California. Congratulations to the Arizona Jr. Coyotes 15O AAA and the 16U AAA on their historic wins of the Tier l Elite League Champions of 2022. The 16U AAA team went on to win their respective Districts and National tournaments. Congratulations to the Arizona Jr. Sun Devils 16UAA on winning the Tier ll State Championships. Congratulations to the Arizona Bobcats 18UAA on winning State and Nationals.
Our student athletes have proven that they are champions on and off the ice. An unprecedented 11 players including nine Arizona youth hockey players from the same team were drafted by the WHL. Not since Auston Matthews has there been this much buzz surrounding Arizona youth hockey players. We wish all the student athletes continued success in the coming years and beyond.

LOOKING BACK ON THE 2020 / 2021 YOUTH HOCKEY SEASON
Congratulations to our student athletes who played for the 04/05 Team Northwest AAA Red on their 2nd place finish in the Northern Exposure AAA Hockey Tournament at Duluth Minnesota. TNW Red was the #1 seed going into the Championship with a 3-1-0 record. Unfortunately their only lost was in the championship gold medal game.
Congratulations to our student athletes who played as 06′ Team Ankle Breakers. The Ankle Breakers won First place in the 3X3 Tournament at the Coyotes Community Ice Center. 
LOOKING BACK ON THE 2018 AND 2019 YOUTH HOCKEY SEASON
The 2018 season was a great year for Youth Hockey. Our student athletes traveled with their respective national and international teams, Arizona Bobcats AAA, Cisneros H.S. AAA, and Czech International Hockey Camp AA to compete against the best Youth Hockey players in the world. The U12 Arizona Bobcats received an invitation to compete in the Tournoi International De Hockey Pee-Wee De Quebec for 2019. We wish them success as they compete for the most coveted title in the world.
The Arizona Bobcats competed against top 20 Tier l teams at the 2018 STX Shootout at the Notre Dame Winter Showcase. Bantam, midget, college coaches, and NHL assistant coaches were on hand to scout talented youth hockey players.
Congratulations to the Arizona Bobcats who claimed the 2018 Thanksgiving Pee-Wee Championship title in Las Vegas. They went undefeated to win the Gold Medal in the 2018 Las Vegas Jr Golden Knights 06 Tournament.
Congratulations to the first place winners of the 2018 Pee Wee Chandler All Star Team on their undefeated (10-0) season.
The Czech International Hockey Camp U12 AA Team participated in the 2018 Presidents Day Tournament in Las Vegas. It was great to watch our student athletes play with their international teammates in the United States. The CIHC U10 AA Team won the silver medal and the CIHC U12 AA Team won the bronze medal. Congratulations on a great tournament
